After a long drive from Falls Church to Myrtle Beach yesterday, we were pleased to be sleeping in our own bed again - even if it's not for long! We had a great couple of days with M&D and of course Indigo Wen. Although she was nervous with us at first, it didn't take long for her to become comfortable with us again and she was giving us kisses. Having promised to post some pictures before the end of the weekend, we suspect there are folks in the UK who are hoping we will post before they go to bed. As they are five hours ahead of us, we need to get moving. This post is going to be all about photographs and not too many words.

lovely photos! Folks in England will get a double treat because I am on the verge of posting a big post with lots of photos. Indigo really enjoyed having you here and looks forward to future days of playing on the beach, at the park, in the lake and in the house, not to mention any other adventures that come along. It was so heartwarming to see her giving her granny and granddad kisses and also her much greater comfort level at being held by you both. When Dad carried Indigo out of the restaurant I had the feeling he was so proud he could have burst and that just made my day.

2nd attempt - to say what happy photos. Alison you look more like a young mum than a granny in the lake. Reminds me of when we went to Walton Hall with Ruth as a baby.
